Barcamp is the mother of community groups in Thailand. It’s the event that brings people together across many diverse areas of interest; mostly technical but also creative and community development. With no fixed agenda, the participants decide what the agenda will be, by volunteering to speak about a broad range of topics that they think are interesting and important. It’s a great way to discover new ideas and uncover new synergies across the tech community. It builds the bridges across the tech community that foster deeper creativity and innovation.
บาร์แคมป์บางกอกคืองานแรก ๆ ของกลุ่มชุมชมคนไอทีในเมืองไทย ซึ่งได้มีการรวบรวมเหล่ายอดฝีมือไว้มากที่สุด ซึ่งก็มากจากหลายหลายสาขา ไม่เฉพาะทางด้านไอทีเท่านั้น งานบาร์แคมป์บางกอกจะไม่มีการเตรียมหัวข้อเอาไว้ล่วงหน้า ผู้เข้าร่วมงานสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในการเป็นผู้พูด และแบ่งปันเนื้อหาที่น่าสนใจให้กับกลุ่มคนที่มาร่วมงานบาร์แคมป์บางกอก ซึ่งจะเป็นการสร้างสรรค์แนวคิด และนวัตกรรมใหม่ ๆ ร่วมกัน
